May 5 2011 was the Annual Infection Control Education Day! The Hands Down Hoedown held at the Stoney Creek convention centre addressed a variety of topics including but not limited to:

Education through Storytelling, A history of TB, Comparing tools for cleaning audits, Animal contamination in food services, and STD's in the elderly.

1 Vision 1 Voice Ontario Palliative Care Conference

The 1 Vision 1 Voice conference put on by The Ontario Palliative Care Association and Hospice Association of Ontario was held on April 10-12 2011. The conference addressed the state of Palliative Care in Canada with a keynote presentation by the honourable Sharon Carstairs and provided a series of workshops and information surrounding strategic planning and quality improvements. ABI Acquired Brain Injury Provincial Conference

Alert Best Nursing was present at the the recent ABI Provincial Conference held from November 2-4 2011 in Niagara Falls.
